Well, you shouldn’t be prank calling emergency services anyway. So emergency services can respond to real problems and prevent hoax calls - you can’t hide it when calling 800 numbers and 911. Masking your caller ID doesn’t work for all numbers. Have a test call before you commit to making your prank. The code should work for all territories in the US, but it wouldn’t hurt to double-check. So if you are doing back to back calls, you better get used to inputting *63. You have to do this for every call you want to keep private. It should appear private on the recipient's phone. There should be an indicator to help you know if masking your number worked.
